House Leader, Student Council Sky-Line Global
Being a house leader is not simple. Through the years, as a forerunner, an older sister, a mentor, I have had to navigate different personalities, settle disagreements, encourage those who doubted themselves, and sometimes make difficult decisions for the team. It taught me that sometimes, being a leader didn’t mean being in the front, it meant stepping back and listening to others
Vice President, MedConnect Season 3
Being part of MedConnect Season 3 gave me the chance to connect with children from underserved communities, and their stories often stayed with me long after our activities ended. I found myself empathizing with their circumstances while becoming more grateful for the life and opportunities I have today. It reminded me that leadership is not only about guiding others, but also about learning from them.
Organizer, Danang Model UN Society (DMS)
My time with Danang Model UN Society introduced me to people with different perspectives, ideas, and ways of approaching the same problem. As an organizer, I had to coordinate events, work closely with my teammates, and help new members find their confidence in an unfamiliar environment. These experiences pushed me to become more open-minded and attentive to ideas different from my own, while teaching me how to bring people together toward a shared goal. I came to see leadership not as speaking for others, but as creating a space where different voices can be heard and valued.
